Real Time Experience
Ardh Architects reached out to Arqui9 to create marketing and concept imagery for their stunning ‘floating retreat’ project, a unique ‘glamping’ resort in the heart of Hatta.
We saw this project had the potential to become a stunning real-time experience, giving us the opportunity to share the immersive view and moments such a place has to offer. Using Unreal Engine, we developed a complete experience.

The challenge that was proposed to the ARQUI9 team was to create visuals that showcase all the different elements that the resort would have to offer.
To achieve this, we used different styles and tones for each of our views, sometimes focusing on the stunning sunset atmosphere, sometimes on the experiences and activities offered on the site, and other times on giving a first-person view.
Finally, we also decided on showing both stylized and realistic takes on the views, giving ourselves more creative freedom to express different feelings and ideas.

We started by creating a multitude of sketches without limiting ourselves in style, approach or mood.
From these sketches, we made a selection of what we saw as a diverse and unique set of images.
That approach allowed us to quickly draft ideas and concepts and finally making a selection of views that best suited the direction that would be suit both the project and the client.
Both our visuals and real-time experience were nominated in different competitions in 2021, such as the 3DAwards.
